Bamboo Flooring - Great Eco-Friendly Alternative

A great eco-friendly alternative to hardwood flooring is bamboo. Bamboo is a grass that can grow up to 6 inches a day, meaning that it can be harvested more often than other hardwoods and therefore over harvesting is a non factor.

While providing a great alternative to hardwoods, bamboo is often selected due to its' relatively low maintenance and durability, and like hardwoods, bamboo can be stained to fit.
