Q: How is bamboo flooring so eco-friendly?

A: Good question. Bamboo is a grass and can grow up to 6 inches a day, meaning that it can be harvested more often than other hard woods and therefore over harvesting is a non factor.

Q: Just because bamboo is an eco-friendly alternative doesn’t mean that it is a useful building material. What makes it so useful?

A: Well, unlike hardwoods, bamboo is the material of choice due to its relatively low maintenance and durability. It can be stained to fit as well. It’s up to you as the customer.
